Ingredients

  • Shells from raw shrimp
  • 5 cups water
  • 6 black peppercorns
  • ¼ cup coarsely chopped onions
  • 2 ribs celery coarsely chopped
  • 1 bay leaf

    About four cups

    Preparation

    1. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes and strain.
