teasing our taste buds in classic foodie films such as Big Night and Julie & Julia was a logical progression from a childhood filled with innovative homemade Italian meals: decadent Venetian Seafood Salad; rich and gratifying Lasagne Made with Polenta and Gorgonzola Cheese; spicy Spaghetti with Tomato and Tuna; delicate Pork Fillet with Fennel and Rosemary; fruity Roast Duck with Fresh Figs; flavourful Baked Whole Fish in an Aromatic Salt Crust; savoury Aubergine and Courgette Casserole with Potatoes; buttery Plum and Polenta Cake; and yes, of course, the legendary Timpano.
You rolling mhm okay so um I made this afternoon some a string bean minestra which is what uh which means soup in Italian and basically it’s like for this incredibly easy thing that my grandmother my mother always made and now I make which is you take a little
Bit of garlic you take a little bit of a little piece of onion and you take potatoes zucchini uh some fresh tomatoes and maybe a little splotch of uh marinada uh and string beans and you throw them all into a pot you don’t sauté anything you don’t do anything
Like that with some water and you cook it down and salt and olive oil and that’s what it looks like and it’s like a a very light light soup but AB absolutely delicious this with toasted bread crunchy bread um so good perfect uh lunch perfect side dish
