Preparation

  1. Blanch the fava beans for a minute in boiling water. Drain and rinse in cold water. Slip off the skins.
  2. Melt the butter in a large frying pan. Add the corn and the fava beans. Cook over moderate heat, stirring, for three to four minutes. Season with salt and a liberal amount of pepper. Serve immediately.
