Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whip together the butter and sugars. Add the peanut butter and whip to combine completely. Continue beating while adding eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. Use a fork to blend the flour mixture into the peanut-butter mixture. When fully combined, stir in the chips.
  2. Make balls about of an inch in diameter. Place on a nonstick baking sheet and with a fork press each ball down to create a crosshatch design. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the sheet immediately and cool on a rack.
