  1. Unsure, but I can tell you that replacing those fairly regularly is just part of the ownership experience, especially if you have kids.

    Yep. Conveggtor has a 3 year warranty (assuming you bought it new from an authorized dealer)

    Take the opportunity to replace it with ceramic plates from the Ceramic Grill Store. They are a lot cheaper, and they do break a little easier, but they are also lightweight and add a lot of flexibility. For example, I have two half moons on my XL, and I just use one at a time for a lot of cooks, easily alternate between direct and indirect cooking, without changing anything in the grill.

    I have the original platesetter, but I haven’t used in years, since I got the CGS stuff. If you live near Atlanta, I’ll give it to you, that’s how seldomly I expect to use it.
