Use a mandoline for the onions. Also a cast iron pan is much cheaper than a 75 dollar tray

I have an oxo sturdy spatula and it works great! Highly recommend trying Oklahoma style smash burgers as well. Once you get them right they are really hard to beat. I haven’t done them on the egg yet!

ah that looks great! I haven’t thought of one of those for burgers but now need to give it serious thought. How did it work out?
That Weber insert is a terrible value even at $75. You can get a lodge griddle of the same size for <$40 full price
What did you smash the burgers with? Looks great
Looks good, but the onions are supposed to be sliced crazy thin, like with a mandolin.
