Ernest is the truth yall. Forgot to post this from our last visit there a few weeks back. The food was incredible. S/O that Bacon as a special. Love a place that cares as much about the sides as the meat. Ernest is cooking up some go the best food in Texas. Go check them out. For all your price people, I forgot the total but it was under $100.

Yeah Burnt Bean is amazing
I live in Seguin and I’m so happy we have a world class BBQ joint in Burnt Bean. And it may be sacrilege, but I almost think their turkey is the best thing on the menu. I’m normally not a huge fan of turkey in general, and I CRAVE theirs. So flavorful and moist with perfect texture every time.
If you’re in Seguin again, also try Schultze’s north of town on 123. They’re not quite as good Burt Bean, but they are quite excellent and there’s rarely a big line. And most of their sides are more pedestrian (they’re still solid though), but their loaded baked potato salad is incredible.
