The Q snobs tend to knock on Terry Black’s from time to time, but to me, that place is so damn good. Absolutely worth every penny.

Brisket is so hard to photograph well. It looks dry as shit in the photo, but that really doesn’t mean anything because the best brisket in the world can look dry in an amateur photograph.

Terry’s brisket is great. I prefer Soulman’s pork ribs, though. I haven’t been to Goldee’s yet. I just wish they would make a smoked potato salad like Blind Box in Kansas.
