  1. It’s obvious he’s a true gardener but he doesn’t read the comments🧐or answer. For those of us that are new to gardening, we just need a quick answer as to not burn our seedling. I started some of mine too early and so some of the leaves are turning yellow. Too much water? Not enough? Lack of fertilizer? They have been in their containers for a couple of months. 😩 I’m anxious to get them in their waist high raised beds. So what fertilizer is good for all of them for starters? I’ve had videos that recommend different fertilizers for squash vs cabbage, broccoli and something else for tomatoes. Everyone on the video makes it look easy. But it’s not.
I plan on adding compost and worm castings to the raised bed soil I bought last year. Don’t think anything I’m using will burn my newbie plants. But it hoping it will be enough to get growth and a great harvest. Any suggestions you all that know? Planning on adding vermiculite to help with the soil mix in the beds. Thanks🪴🩷😊

  2. I give them 12 days 15 sometimes and barely any like quarter the dose kr less . Organic though a week before u want them to eat u feed

  3. Thank you for the info. I've been gardening for 25 years and start most of my own seeds but didn't know that I should be fertilizing my seedings. Now I will do so.

  4. THANK YOU for explaining why to use organic fertilizer. I had no idea there was a difference, I just assumed as ling as it had NPK either organic or nonorganic would work fine and I could get what's cheapest.

  5. I was two days from fertilizing my seedlings for the first time and I was about to use the ratio on the label, thank you garden hermit!

  6. I still use fertilizer before "organic"
I want the nutrients and tastes. Organic is like buying store bought veggies. Use fish for nitrogen, other veggie compost for phosphorus and phosphates. Why buy organic $$$ when God provides for free?🤔

  7. I like to bottom water with fish emulsion when I put in the seeds and then just let them ride. Alaska 5-1-1. Stinky stuff but great.

  8. I accidentally put some fertilizer to my seedlings when the true leaves haven't come out (totally a new beginner). Is it ok? Like my plants going to fine?

  9. What is your opinion plant seedlings in a rock wall instead of soil?
Did they use only water to geminate seedlings in a rockwall ? ?
Thank you in advance ☺️ ❤

  10. Any recommendations for organic fertilizer that doesn't stink?
I'm in Minnesota, so my nursery is in a heated garage; it's roughly -4°F right now. Most organic fertilizers I've tried smell like urine or fish. Not great in an attatched garage.

  11. I didnt know i could bottom feed with the fertilizer. I just always did on top very carefully around the seedlings. I use a 1/2 gallon sprayer for it but i like your method. Definitely going to hit these little guys like that. Bottom watering is much better for root development anyway. Thank you Jacques!

  12. JESUS loves you. Repent and put your faith and trust in Him and He will accept you joyfully and GOD (FATHER GOD, JESUS THE SON, THE HOLY SPIRIT) will come and live you you and change your heart to love good and hate evil so trust in Him because Jesus is the only way to eternal life. Those who believe in Jesus, the Son of God, the God, the One Who created the universe will be saved from hell and inherit eternal life as a free gift from Jesus when He took your sin on the cross and nailed it to the cross, freeing you from death and sin and allowing you to know the Truth, if you would believe in Him. “Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭
“So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.””
    ‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭32

  13. I've had some success with using fertilizer stakes. I cut them down to 3-5 pieces depending on the size of the seedling(like I have full size snap dragons that are almost 12" tall and we still have 6wks til last frost so they get a bigger chunk then say my petunias).

  14. I tried to check out with a couple of the trays and seedling starters but my address didn't work!!
Do yall not ship to Canada!? ❤

  15. Did you do a controlled study to demonstrate the difference? That would be much more informative.
