Focaccia, bresaola, arugula (rucola), fresh ricotta (ricotta fresca), rosemary infused olive oil (olio extravergine di oliva al rosmarino), and a medium-soft cheese I can’t remember.

We made this one ourselves after a trip to the Mercado Trionfale in Rome

Looks delicious. Simple is almost always best.
Brilliantly done, and thank you for taking the time to post your sandwich.

  3. These type of sandwich shops are opening all over LA now.

Bresaola is so damn good but I can only know one place I can get it and it’s $25 a pound. Definitely worth it once in awhile though.

Having been to Rome a few times- I’d suggest to other Americans to stick to the pasta/pizza. The sandwiches there are SO DRY. Many aren’t used to the simple bread/cheese/meat and a little bit of olive oil

How was it without a “sauce” like mayo or anything?
