Used brioche bread with both American cheese and shredded cheddar. Sprinkled parmesan on the outside.

Greens. Some broiled sprouts or broccoli maybe?

  3. My mom always put baby dill pickles on the side. I still do that.

  4. Can’t beat dunking a grilled cheese in tomato soup imo. It’s a great combo

That looks delicious. Tomato soup would be great with that grilled cheese.

if I’m soupless I like just squirting a few dabs of different hot sauces and dip my sandwich into them and maybe toss a pickle spear or two on the plate

Love the tuile on the exterior.
My soup choice is Progresso tomato basil with added oregano and garlic.

Chili. Especially homemade. But when I was a kid, I would order a grilled cheese with fries and a dish of dill pickle chips at a restaurant my mom worked at. It was my favorite thing for a long time.

I’m not a big tomato soup person, but as a dip for my grilled cheese, yes, please. Yours looks divine, btw.

It would appear you did a great job with your grilled cheese. You don’t need no stinking soup. Enjoy your sandwich.

Pickles, ketchup, fries any or all of the above

Barring tomato soup, maybe a nice caesar salad

Grilled sourdough with olive oil is also very tasty

  14. Plain ol’ Campbell’s tomato made with milk. Cheese gotta be extra sharp cheddar. That’s one of my favorite meals on earth.
