Preparation

  1. Boil peas in their pods in salted water for 10 minutes. Drain and place in one or two bowls.
  2. Melt butter over low heat and place in two or more bowls.
  3. To eat, take a pod by the stem, dip it into the butter and suck the peas out while scraping the thin, sweet layer of the pod.
