Preparation

  1. Purée the watermelon, 3 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice in a blender. Taste and adjust the sugar and citrus juice if desired. Pour through a strainer into a large pitcher and drain without pressing the solids. Skim off any foam and serve over ice in tall glasses.
