Control tower on my big Joe is sitting at an angle and I can’t unseat/remove it. I have tried wriggling it out, gentle shoves but it won’t move. I am afraid if I use too much force I might crack the ceramic top. Could someone please advise how can I fix it? Thanks

It’s just friction fitted on the top with a gasket to seal the air gap. So just push it down to sit even if it bothers you. In my opinion it is better tighter so I wouldn’t mess with it because it might not go back on as tight
Yeah its annoying if you’re ocd about finish.
But wait two seasons and you won’t care. Maybe not even that long.
It doesn’t impact performance.
Knock it gently from the inside out. Never knock it from the sides
Have you tried to remove it after everything is hot?
My tower gets very loose when I do a cleaning burn. It’s annoying when you go to shut the vent and the whole thing turns.
Thanks everyone, yes, it was more my OCD. There is no smoke leak or any performance related issue. I will leave it as is.
Happened me over time. I eventually replaced the gasket, worth it for a nice, snug fit.
