Sliced the ribeye on my deli slicer, cooked up some vellow onions separately, cooked the steak and combined that on my cast iron griddle with some sliced cherry peppers and a mix of vellow american and white cheddar cheese. Mixed it all up and put on this French-ish roll. Was really good and one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had and absolutely the best one I've made at home

Man, the perspective of these pics really fucked with me. At first I thought they were round slices of bread with a bit of beef dolloped in the middle. I think it’s because you cut the sandwich so perfectly. Anyway, I want a one.

Kitchen looks small and you got a deli slicer? I’m jealous and curious of your set up. Sandwich looks perfect!

It’s looks terrible that’s how you know it’s a good cheeseteak.

What model deli slicer do you have, and whats your opinion of it?

This is so embarrassing, but I’m a little relaxed 🍃 and thought this was a picture of two circular buns with a very light smear of cheesecake that got distorted somehow. Anyways, it looks delicious now that I opened my eyes all the way.

Was the ribeye frozen when you sliced it? What kind of roll did you use? I apologize for multiple questions, after I have been away from the Phila area for 2 years I have been planning on getting a slicer as well. Look great!!

Now that looks like a proper cheese steak!

Homemade? This is less meat than you’d get on a sandwich from a gas station.

If you’re ever looking for another dish with similar ingredients, look up a runza, a German-American recipe from where I’m from.

Dough loaf with chopped onions, beef, and other stuff, pretty good
