Tonight's project: Smothered Burritos! I started by generously seasoning some cut-up chicken breast, heated up the refried beans, and whipped up a homemade spicy nacho cheese sauce
To assemble: warm tortillas, a spread of refried beans, the seasoned chicken, a drizzle of taco sauce, and a blanket of shredded cheese. Rolled them up tight and grilled them until golden and crispy.
The final touch: drowning them in that spicy nacho cheese. Made four, devoured two, and left the last pair for the roommate.

This looks so good
I’m sure these taste good and I know that smothered burritos are a common thing and I’m the weird one, but personally I never understood it. Isn’t the whole point of a burrito that it is it’s own container, allowing you to use your hands to eat it?
Looks tasty.
Damn. A nacho sauce like that is unbeatable. Looks so good and nostalgic for me.
Would eat 11/10 times
Smothering chickens is cruel there are more humane ways to slaughter chickens
Question, what’s the difference between this and an enchilada?
Looks good but I’m a sucker for my toppings. gotta have some shredded lettuce, pico, sour cream and guacamole all on top
I am sorry but i can’t wrap my head around that sauce! It’s so loose and not thick but looks divine!
Please elaborate?
Yum!
How do you approach eating those?
Why did you smother it in cheese sauce?
Damn that burrito is WET
