Hi friends! I volunteer at a crisis shelter and would like to start cooking and baking for them because the people there are usually too mentally exhausted to cook for themselves and end up living off of snack foods. I do not have a lot of money either, but I can probably spend about $30 and do something once a week. It doesn't have to be a whole meal, could be a more hearty snack. Preferably would feed about 20 people and also stores well as leftovers. If it can be a 1 pot/1 pan type meal that would be even better because of transport logistics, but doesn't have to be. Any ideas? So far I have just thought of chili. 2 of my specialties are banana bread and apple crisp (pictured) and I'll definitely be making those for them at some point too.
