The celebrated chef behind La Bistroteca and Boiling Point’s on-screen dishes unveils her bold new restaurant and bar
Liverpool’s dining scene is ready to welcome another highly anticipated opening.
Chin-Zano, a modern Italian restaurant and cocktail bar, created by award-winning chef Livia Alarcon, is set to open its doors later this year.
Located on Love Lane, just 10 minutes from Everton’s new stadium, the restaurant will boast a vibrant menu of Italian dishes driven by ingredients and flavours. Expect house-made pasta, signature pizzettes, Tuscan ragù inspired by Florence, and small and large sharing plates designed for modern dining.

Chin-Zano marks a new chapter for Livia, who has earned national acclaim through her appearance on BBC’s The Great British Menu and bringing authenticity to the food in Boiling Point.
“Chin-Zano is about bringing energy back into the city’s dining scene – a place to eat beautifully, drink boldly, and feel like you’ve discovered a piece of Italy on Love Lane,” says Livia.
