Macclesfield looks set to get a new Mediterranean restaurant.

Signs for Medo Cafe have gone up at 36A Mill Street.

The unit was previously home to Butters John Bee but has been sat empty for several years.

It now appears set for a new lease of life as a restaurant serving up Mediterranean cuisine, doubling up as a kebab house.

According to Companies House, the director of Macclesfield’s Medo Cafe Limited, Said Mohamed Naser, was previously involved with another business, Medo Cafe Ltd, which operated in Manchester.

However, this business was dissolved via compulsory strike-off in March of this year.

It is not yet clear when Medo Cafe on Mill Street will be up and running.

Attempts have been made to contact the business for further information.
