I’m worried I planted my Aji’s too close. Should I just pull one, or try splitting them up into separate pots? They are about 6” apart.

Your choice. Do you want 2 small plants in the same pot? Or each have their own space to get bigger?

It depends how big you want them to grow. I usually do two of every plant in each pot just so in case one dies I have a backup. I end up with the same amount of fruit anyway and I have a lot of seeds so no loss there.

    Split while easier to separate.
They won’t grow big and later their roots will get tangled and damaged if you do separate them

My peppers each have a 5 gallon, how big is your pot?

If you give them more room they’ll grow bigger on their own. That said, I’ve had two pepper plants grow happily next to eachother, they probably just didn’t get as big.

If the planter is large enough not to worry, the roots will spread out and you’ll be fine.

I would split them up now before the roots keep on growing. There plenty big enough to survive and young enough to get over it
