McPrice “Mac” Myers, founder and winemaker of McPrice Myers Wines, and Maggie Tillman, owner and director of sales and marketing at Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery.

– Two Paso Robles winemakers have been named to Wine Business Monthly’s list of Wine Industry Leaders of 2025, the publication announced Nov. 13. McPrice “Mac” Myers, founder and winemaker of McPrice Myers Wines, and Maggie Tillman, owner and director of sales and marketing at Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery, were recognized among this year’s recipients.

Wine Business Monthly stated that its editorial team evaluates leadership in the wine industry each year by looking beyond titles or performance metrics. The selection process considers individuals who drive progress, support their communities, and influence the direction of the wine industry. The 2025 list highlights those identified as innovators who challenge conventions and contribute to the industry’s development.

Myers and Tillman were recognized in the Culture Shifters and Energizers category, which honors individuals credited with renewing interest and activity within the wine industry. The category includes leaders who have created new events, collaborations, and wines designed to engage both established and emerging audiences.

“This recognition reflects the incredible spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines Paso Robles,” said Stacie Jacob, founder and chief strategist of Solterra Strategies. “We’re proud to see our community represented among the very best in the business.”

According to the announcement, Myers is known for his work with Rhône varieties and his focus on Paso Robles’ soils and microclimates. His portfolio includes blends and single-vineyard wines. In addition to his winemaking, Myers has been involved in efforts to promote Paso Robles as a Rhône region and has participated in sustainability, mentorship, and community programs.

Tillman leads direct-to-consumer and marketing efforts at Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery. Her work includes social media campaigns and educational content. Under her leadership, Alta Colina has continued operating as a family-run estate winery with an emphasis on sustainably farmed Rhône varietals. Tillman has also overseen projects such as immersive vineyard tastings and the development of The Trailer Pond.

Wine Business Monthly also recognized Molly Lonborg, winemaker at Booker Vineyard, for contributions to the Paso Robles winemaking community.
