There are plenty of Costco prepared foods that regularly save the day during the holiday season. For example, there’s the ever-convenient heat-and-eat mashed potatoes that eliminate all the work from the classic side. Not to mention, the signature peppermint bark ensures you always have something sweet on hand for unexpected guests. The seasonal bagels keep everyone fed with minimal effort on busy mornings. And who could forget the pecan pie that’s good enough to pass off as homemade? (Grandma’s secret!)

But the prepared item some of us rely on most caters to one particular seasonal need: holiday parties. Because as we’d all love to whip up a thoughtful dessert from scratch, the reality is that, during the busiest season of the year, it’s tough to find the time to make homemade desserts. And showing up empty-handed is simply not an option.

So, there’s one Costco find I keep a close eye out for as soon as December hits—and it’s finally here.

Costco’s 2025 Holiday Cookie Tray Is Officially Here

Costco’s iconic holiday cookie platter has officially arrived in the bakery, featuring five distinct, crowd-pleasing, and perfectly festive flavors.

Shoppers say they look forward to these trays every year, but the 2025 lineup is already proving more impressive than years past. Early reviewers said, “every cookie (with a tall glass of milk) was yummy,” with some celebrating the fact that there’s “not a raisin in sight.”

Inside this year’s cookie assortment, you’ll find four flavors—Butter Pecan, Chocolate Chip, Toffee Sandie, Coconut Almond Chunk, and Red Velvet—each with 12 cookies.

And each flavor already has its own fan club. “I claim the row of red velvet,” one person wrote, while another insisted that “the butter pecan is my pick.” With flavors (and reviews) this strong, more than a few shoppers have decided to skip holiday baking completely this year.

“Yeah, I’m not baking a single dang cookie this year,” one commenter admitted.

Others say the trays are “nice to bring to Christmas parties” and “great for family gatherings!” Whether you’re headed to an office party, a holiday happy hour, or a full-blown family reunion, I have a feeling this cookie tray will disappear faster than the Kirkland Signature eggnog.

The 60-count Christmas cookie tray is available now for $24.99 throughout the holiday season. So if you love serving (and eating) Christmas cookies more than you love finding time to bake them, Costco—as usual—has you covered.
