Thanks Ivan, great update. Just put my peppers to soak in the weak tea, ready for sowing tomorrow.
Chopping at the bit this winter has been so long
Thank you Ivan. Yes you need to soak sweetpeas for sure. I succes sow them indoors all through out spring while I sell a lot of sweetpeas. I have had some mold issue with purchased sweetpea seeds so I add a little drop of chlorite (toilet cleaner) to the soak water. I need to test this tea idea to thunbergia seeds (black eye susan). They germinate so slowly.
Good one as always. I also save as many seeds as I can.
Well planned, will try that this time. I seem to be getting better at this gardening thing, 😁 (great at composting, though).
Thank you, Ivan.
Thanks for your advice. How are you Spelling bocaleta ?
Thank you. Great tips . Ahh maybe this is why I only got one sweet pea growing from the pods that I kept.
My first and second early seed potatoes have been chitting for some weeks now. I have noticed a few of them have become soft and wrinkly, will they still be okay for planting?
your starts look amazing! everything is so healthy. how you managing in the wind?
Thanks Ivan, great update and it's all looking good now but be aware that the -3C will be tonight. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Good advise, thanks
Thanks for the tip about soaking them! Unfortunately I planted all mine last week XD
Hi Ivan, thank you for the tips on soaking pepper seeds, will definitely try that. Just a question about the soaking solution for peppers – why the week tea rather than just normal water like with sweet peas? Thank you.
Another Excellent vid , learning so much from you , thank you so much for all your vids and your time 🙏
