  1. We are incredibly thankful for your bug book! It was exactly what we had been searching for! Last year we used it almost daily, determining the bad guys, and the good guys. Happily our book is looking dog-eared, and dirt smudged! We love watching your channel and gleaning from your wisdom! Thank you! ❤

  2. Ugh! I woke up to Another blanket of Snow! 🥴. It was gone.
Z5a, WI. It was fairly warm just before. My winter sow had 2 jugs that sprouted Sea Lavender Statice and Yarrow. They should be ok.
Nice greenhouse. I can’t wait for it to warm up a bit more to heat ours so I can get more room. I’m pre sprouting 19 varieties of hot peppers right now and sweets next then tomatoes. I was finally able to get the coral geraniums and some more petunias and hope it’s not too late to start them. They seem to grow fairly fast.
I figured out what the Non Stop Begonias wanted—HEAT! I looked everywhere as to why the seedlings were not budging in the growth department. I thought like a begonia and figured the grower in UK showed his in a greenhouse—Bingo! It was really unbelievable in just 1day the color was greener and now we have real growth happening. I should have connected a few reddish leaves to being too cold as blueberries do the same.
So if you’ve done everything right and the plants aren’t growing they may need some mittens😊
I’m going to finish your wonderful video and grow shovel out the greenhouse—Again.🙄
    Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Spring!

  3. So excited you are back in the garden. I am going to try growing raspberries this year. Do you have a video on raspberries? If not maybe sneak a little information in with one of the upcoming ones. I am going to get my lettuce out soon here in 6b.

  4. Hi Susan, I was wondering why do you put your peppers in the green house? Is it to get an early start for them? You get more peppers because it is warmer for the plants ?

  5. The composting setup looks great. What is the title/# of the video, would love to view it😊

  6. Love how you have the garden laid out, wish I could grow in ground. Sadly a buried petroleum pipe under the rear of the backyard worries me enough not to. You are one of the few gardening channels I watch in my zone, 5b, but I am south of Chicago. We have had a very warm month so far. I am going to move some cold weather stuff out into a cold frame next week, still hardening them off. Looking forward to your video's this season.

  7. Love your beds and the covering abilities – so practical and looks nice! I appreciate seeing your layout of veg. I'm trying to work on that too. I've two small-ish garden areas, so we definitely go as vertical as we can. Trying to plan out our greenstalks as well. Had two and just purchased a leaf one to mix and match. Thanks for sharing, Susan! We're in a 5b/6a here in western Mass.

  8. Thank you Susan. You have been very busy. Everything organized just waiting on the weather.
Same here in Texas. Storms have been rolling in every week so I am delaying my planting also. Good video. Have a great week.

  9. Susan, your videos are incredibly informative and easy to watch. I too am in zone 5b though on the east coast of Canada. It’s nice to see a true gardener in the north I can relate too. I love how you err on the side of practicality. I hope you have a great season from Nova Scotia

  10. I'm curious. You grow your tomatoes etc in your greenhouse? Don't you get very hot weather in summer like we do near Spokane?

  11. What am aN amazing blessing to get a beautiful greenhouse like that from your neighbors! I’m so happy for you! It is lovely!
