Do you have any concerns over the plastic totes leaching harmful chemicals into your soil? I’m concerned that in our extremely hot summers of over 100° that they could do that.
Lovely garden tour. Thanks.
Great video, thanks to both of you! So glad your weather is warming up……I was starting to fear for your sanity, Robbie! 😂 we are cold and rainy in country Victoria, Oz. Not happy, but hoping to grow as much Kale and green stuff as I can. Our supermarket food is woeful. Keep the faith, Kitty! ❤
I was going to ask you if Gary had a Hummingbird nesting in his garden again this year ! That is so awesome ! Would you believe it was 86 degrees here in central Virginia today ? Then the next few days , it drops again . Beautiful garden , Gary ! Thank you for sharing it with us . You can tell Gary loves his garden just like you love yours !
Thank you! I love seeing your garden and all of your tips.
It's always great to see Gary garden, he's so knowledgeable and everything looks great.
Hi Robbie. Would y’all mind making a video on how you propagate passion fruit from seed? I’ve tried twice two different ways and nada. First time was how you do it sandwiched between a damp paper towel and placed in a ziplock. When that didn’t work I tried germinating in soil and that hasn’t worked either. 😢
Brilliant Gary! I heard ya just fine & I have cricket-like tinnitus. I love the Passionflower…wish I could rehome my girl to you. She's been potted,{imprisoned is more like it} in a small pot almost 4 yrs. now. We've been extremely sweltering here in Montana the last couple summers, but our winter's like a few months back can be -40F and that's NOT including the wind chill. I grew her from a packet of 30 seeds with 6 surviving. Now I've 4 left that are super strong & no matter the cold outdoors…she vines all over the easterly window of my sun/dry room. I've a bit of a query, maybe you/others can reply…I noticed just above the potting soil it looks as if new shoots or leaves are starting. She's a Blue variety if that matters…I'll have to keep her indoors, but I've no clue the best way to give her the home she deserves…any thoughts from the expert?? Much appreciated, ~ Covah
THANK YOU !
Wow, it looks beautiful, Gary! Kitty was so adorable, watching from above!
Oh yes, I want to know how to make a simple compost bin without spending a lot of money.
Looking forward to his video. Does he have another channel?
I always love to see Gary's amazing garden. Exciting to see the hummingbird! I had 2 finally show up last week. I'll be watching for his videos on composting in place.
I love gardening
Roby could you please post your video where Gary showed how he put his compost pile next to his trees, I can not find it, thank you. I want to try it with my fruit trees
So how well do these containers stand up to the UV radiation?
Does Gary have his own channel?
Beautiful garden set up 💕 I was just curious, if there could be rattlesnakes hiding in Gary's garden during the hot weather – how does he get around without getting bitten? That's scary 😳
Robbie your frustration with the cold weather is something I feel very much. I live in a much colder climate in Wisconsin – but still the weather has been much too cold and snowy this year. We might have 60 degree weather next week. That would be wonderful! The trees have not even begun to leaf out. I have been watering 2 collard plants, a bin full of broccoli and a bin of kale indoors since last fall. I keep talking to the plants – telling them to wait a little longer on their windowsills. Its going to be a short growing season in the north. But still, I am learning about gardening from you and Gary. Gardening is now a creative endeavor that is far different from just plopping seeds in the ground.
Yesterday I was in a Dollar Tree and behind me in line a couple was picking up an order of a case of 24 hummingbird feeders. We started chatting and they were going to distribute them among neighbors, and keep them full of "food" – what a wonderful idea! We had to continue to check out, and they may live at the nearby Leisure World where many residents have kind of a protected place for the feeders, but I told them about your channel and wonderful hummingbird ideas.
oh oh ~waves arms in the air~ where did you find seed/starts for the water chestnuts? I've been looking for a while.. I can find either videos on how to grow them or where to get them, canned.
Poor guy, let him relax in his own buzz. Nothing like your wife constantly on your back
