  1. Zone 7b, we plant potatoes April-may and the first ones are ready in early July.

  2. lol "Germination Station sounds cooler than Plant Roommates…
My bedroom is extra small, less than 10×10 and I have a 2×2 and 3×3 grow tent set up.
keeping my tropical plants safe for the winter… and germinating tons of Tomatoes.

  3. the hairs don't turn to roots. the white nodules that appear where it's wet turn into roots. The hairs are trichomes

  4. Regarding zucchini, do not wait to produce very large zucchini. The plant will yield a lot more overall if harvested regularly when compared harvesting fewer larger ones. Zucchini also freezes very well so pick them regularly.

  5. Love the part about randomly growing carrot Tops all over the place not in rows.

  6. You are giving info only for southern areas . this needs to be pointed out . Will not work in other areas.

  7. I like the info, but the "get these in the ground in April" idea only works if you're in the same growing zone or climate.

  8. Of course it matters where you live. Anchorage AK is still snowing. However, I do have seeds in for tomato plants.

  9. My garden is still under 2 feet of snow, we don’t plant potatoes until mid to late may and that still gives enough time to grow and mature before freeze up

  10. I thought you can’t Plant potatoes in the same area but you’re talking about letting patches grow year after year is that sustainable?

  11. "Vegetables You Need To Plant In April 2023" ???
You spelled NOVEMBER wrong when it comes to garlic. If you plant garlic in the spring, you won't get a harvest at all that year. You need to plant the previous fall.

  12. I would pass on squash and lettuce if you have limited space or time.. the amount of space they take up doesn't justify what they give in return, they both score very low on the Agrigate Nutrient Density Index "ANDI" also both of them are not energy foods, if all you had to eat was squash and lettuce… just look a vegan, you know what I mean.

  13. Would be a good info to mention your growing zone. Last frost date for where I live is mid may. Great video, worth my sub! 👊🏻👏🏻

  14. Any tips on what someone living in the north could grow (in my case, southern Finland, north of e.g. Anchorage, Alaska)? Even those sweet, sweet inch-long tomatoes will barely get any reddish hue before the autumn frost comes and keels everything…
