  1. YouTube doesn't promote my channel as I refuse advertising. However, Likes do help my channel to grow…please Like if you have enjoyed this video. Blessings X Colette

  2. You have inspired me to get out and work in my allotment today. Do you get midges at you cottage?

  3. My ideal world would be similar to yours, as a Celtic hermit with a tiny cottage and a garden, making pottery for a living and painting Mother of God and Celtic Saints…but its just a dream…

  4. I'm always a bit jealous of your early springs in Ireland. We just got another foot of snow over the weekend here in northern NY. A good time to sit by the woodstove and order more trees and shrubs! 😄

  5. Oh, one more thing: I've decided to use my Bealtaine calendar as a chronicle of my gardening year. Keeping track of what orders I place, what I'll plant, when the robins return, and other garden tasks and delights.

  6. My early spring is about 4 weeks away, so your video has been a delightful encouragement to me Colette. Thank you with the best of Blessings to you and yours and all who make your one woman's woodland their home!

  7. The wee birds are at home in the forest of Tree’s Bealtaine woodlands, oh the mention of Rhubarb.
Hopefully you can share a cooking recipe when is ready for the table. Maybe even a demonstration
I used to always make Rhubarb with custard on a Sunday as a desert treat when my children were small
Also Colette , you made my old heart melt , when noticing the wee Bumblebee 🐝
    Mary Canada. 🇨🇦

  8. Cant wait to catch up to you, Colette! The bird song will be so welcome after all our snow melts here ❤️ Thanks for sharing xx

  9. I live vicariously through your videos. I've spent the last 3 months in Alaska, most of it in darkness and extreme cold; but hopefully returning home this week. My home is in a high desert, 4,450' in elevation, so we get cold snowy winters and Spring isn't until the end of March. Then around May 1st we are into summer (80° temps), so I hope to be able to work on my gardens soon. Bright Blessings for Imbolc 🌞💐🌿🐑

  10. Negative 11 here🥶
Looks wonderful to be growing stuff I
can not wait haha. Few more months to go here

  11. Hi it’s Marian Gerry’s wife due to illness Gerry doesn’t use any more ,I’m not clever enough to change things any way just found your channel, what a joy. I’m house bound so to follow you outside is lovely.

  12. I love the birds singing!! I’m fortunate to have big trees and smaller bushes to accommodate the birds. I love creating a haven for them with water and food. Love your part of heaven on earth!! ❤

  13. I love wattle fences! I am thinking about making one to join 2 beds together. Joanne, Western North Carolina Mountains of USA (similar climate to yours is my understanding)

  14. So wonderful for you to be outside again, tending your garden, and that bird song just lifts your heart, does it not?! You being out there, made me get up off my posterier, and go out into my tiny front bit I have, and clear all the dead stuff left over from the winter! Thank you Colette. I saw two beautiful deer this morning, on my walk in the Devon country lanes, with my rescue greyhound Madge. I feel so lucky to see such things. I heard the owl in the trees the other morning at dawn, and I see a couple of buzzards flying overhead most mornings. Infact, I can be sitting in my bed with a cup of tea, and looking out of the window to see the buzzards and squirrels on the trees outside, how lucky am I?! Bless you too. xxx

  15. Last night I heard the spring peeper frogs for the first time, they're calling for some very cold nights here, 20F and a couple colder. Were I am in the states we rarely go below 25, sure hope these guys know what they're doing. I was also surprised to see some spring crocus up and blooming, sure hope these signs of spring from nature are more reliable than the forecast.

  16. Today I'm burning small branches in my woodstove. It's giving heat just fine! That makes me happy because now I know managing my forest will be easier.

  17. Beautiful bird song. My grandma used to say even animals knew how to give thanks at the end of the day, she was referring to the birds.☺️💗

  18. Oh Colette, we are so wet and more to come here in Virginia and with Imbolc tomorrow I am anxious to get busy with spring beds! So grateful for these wonderful adventures through your videos! I feel like I am right there with you! You are my dearest friend though we have never met! Thank you for you and the inspiration you give so freely. Blessings to You, Bealtaine Cottage and all who come here to be encouraged, inspired and enchanted!

  19. As always, a very lovely video with a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It's all so soothing. Thank you!
I too feel that the race for more and more profit has cut man off from nature and its beauty, wealth and benevolence. Some people believe that technology will save us from all the terrible problems we are faced with today: I fear they have it all wrong. Have a great day, Colette. 🙏

  20. I thought you were prancing us at the beginning. I thought that must be a daughter pretending to be you. All that walking I thought.

  21. Dear Colette, thank you so much for for videos and your encouragement to everyone. I have suffered from mental health issues for many years, and being 60 this coming May, has left me feeling very doubtful about myself, and my capabilities. But hearing from you about your ambition for the coming times ahead, and telling us your age, gave me new hope to do my best to keep going. Sending blessings to you, and to any others reading this who may be needing an uplift in life. Take care of yourselves. 🙏❤️

  22. Hola! Thank-you for more Goddess gardening inspiration! Last February my work truck just blew up unexpectedly. Luckily my business is gardening and pool cleaning and Feb. is always slow. Somehow, the series of books The Ringing Cedars of Russia came my way simultaneously. I read all 9 books in two weeks and my life totally transformed. I learned so many gardening tips from Anastasia, the main character in these books. One thing I did last season in my vegetable garden is to hold the seeds in my mouth under my tongue for 9 minutes, and then hold them up to the sun and sky before planting them. Anastasia says this will allow the veggies to know what one needs for healing! I have perfect health, so I don't know about healing, but every vegetable was so big, beautiful, and healthy despite our intense heat and drought last season. I loved the whole ritual of doing this!

  23. Another lovely "visit". "A wee yoke" and "I am a spontaneous gardener" made me smile. I am newly retired in a new to me place. Lots to contemplate as there are a few garden boxes but nothing else around the house. It will be a work in progress as I have 12 acres, 9 of which ate woodland, 1 acre of a meadow type area and around 2 acres around the house and small outbuildings. It will be a work in progress over time.

  24. Absolutely Beautiful Garden and delightful video. Sending positive vibes and best wishes from Ohio USA. 💫

  25. Your channel are the ones I seek out, “not that monetizing would be wrong for you” but I know you are real and not just telling us what you think we want to hear for gain, I don’t respond much but love your videos!😊

  26. I find nature, wildlife, animals are so very healing to my soul. I often feel overwhelmed by life and, you are SO right, Mother Nature is the only thing that makes any sense 🥰🥰

  27. "Happy Full Moon From Aussieland Colette!" Your always my go to place before my Moon Meditation each month 'Pure Magic'! "If you have a garden & library you have everything you need". Looking forward to your next book!!!💜🐦🕊🐝🐛🐞🌻🌳💚

  28. The birds at the beginning sound like they are at a family & friends reunion ♥you know the one, where everyone is so excited to see each again and you can barley get a word in – just lovely! In the evening it's the stragglers who say they have to go but keep talking at the door ' if you know you know ♥Lovely video Colette thank you so much for sharing.

  29. I love the nature you are surrounded by. The sun is just setting and listening to the background music from the birds is so soothing.

I try not to bother with the outside world as it’s full of hate.

    Sending blessings x

  30. Hi Collette, just watched this now, how I adored this video… was so humble and peaceful, love watching you do your thing … when you said time to have a cuppa… I paused and made one too…I feel like I’m there with you. Thankyou for sharing, so great of you to invite us into your home and journey.💚

  31. I don't make plans for my garden, neither. I go with what , feels right.. When friends visit, they say my orchard is more like a park.. I often say, if you can't eat it, don't grow it, but hubby likes ornamental trees, he's planted English Elm, a tree they call a Wedding Cake tree, and a couple of others, but I'd planted edibles, one of my friends sees Fairies 🧚‍♂️ throughout my garden..she said they helped me to develop it…I built a small cabin, and called it Cottingley Cottage…I painted the faires from the book, onto a piece of driftwood and placed it above one of the windows..I later discovered I have the same address as the one in the book, except I'm one number more.. I love building things, my hubby helps me with the heavy lifting, and he's very patient with me..people all say the same thing, that my garden is very peaceful .. it's the energy of the Faires I reckon… I find your videos very inspiring indeed..I am one year older than you, keep up that wonderful spirit, as I will also endeavour to do, from this side of our dear Mother Earth 🌍. Everything is energy, our thoughts, our actions, keep up that positive life and loving heart. Kia kaha. NZ.
