Grow as We Grow is a Perk Member series. We show off our gardens, talk about what we are currently doing, and provide garden ideas and tips, as we tour. It’s a fun way to share your garden with a crowd that is equally passionate about gardening and growing food. And get your questions answered!

Tier 1 and Tier 2 Perk Members can ask video questions that show up in Grow as We Grow.

Tier 2 Perk Members can also send me videos of their gardens.

Thanks to Stacey, Mara, and Linda for the questions and videos!

  1. You can often find the JOIN button below my videos, like today. You can Join my YouTube Perk Memberships by clicking on the JOIN button on my YouTube landing page. The JOIN button can be harder to find on different devices. It is easy to find on a desktop. Thanks for the interest and good luck in your gardens!

  2. Thanks Carrie. I have a question if you can help. I’m in zone 5b and have just put out my peppers and tomatoes and summer items. However my spring crops seem very small. We had a lot of rain. It is in the high 70s during the day and low 50s at night. Should I pull my brassicas like cabbage and broccoli ? They are literally only 2 inches high. Thank you so much.!

  3. I'm a new gardener and your videos have been helping the entire way through so thank you sooo much!! I want to put in zone timers for watering, but would you suggest one timer with 4 zones, or setup a Y with two timers each with 2 zones? Thank you again!!!!

  4. I just bought a dill plant from the garden store because I am not having luck starting dill from seed. I almost fell over when it rang up at $6.99. Not even in that great of shape.

  5. I would love it if you showed your little garden shed, I noticed, one day as you were filming! I need one of them to put all my tools and equipment in to be handy as I need them! Trying to explain to my husband what I want!😂 Thank you!

  6. The pickleworms have come early to Sylacauga Alabama. They are already boring into my squash. Yuk! I wasn't expecting them for another three weeks, or later. It is raining today, so tomorrow afternoon I go to war with Spinosad. My golden beets, tops and bottoms, are ready to harvest. Bulbing, germination, and overall condition are far better than the Detroit Red Beets. I will be growing more of them in place of the red beets. My red potatoes, and from the look of the vines, the russet potatoes too, are ready to harvest. I need to wait a day or two for the soil to dry out a bit before digging them up. The cucumbers are looking great, but I need to spray them with Spinosad to keep the pickleworms away.
