Preparation

  1. Slice the garlic cloves very thin.
  2. Heat the oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, about 3 minutes, until the garlic is golden brown.
  3. Drain well, reserving the oil. Spread the garlic slices on paper towels to dry. Store in an airtight container, where they will keep for months, and reserve the oil for cooking.
