That doesn’t look like a pepper seedling, the leaves on those are way longer. That’s almost certainly something unrelated – a seed in the compost or a wild blow-in.

I would think of sprouting something like Habanero only in a controlled environment (heat mats, cell trays). Too much variation otherwise!

I would go buy a little habanero plant at that point … that’s not a pepper. 🌶️
