finished the live it’s so hot I am sweating I don’t think I’ve been this hot on this holiday I mean don’t get me wrong I’ve been hot but I am sweating my back’s sweating Mark sweating we’re all swe we’re all meling um but Welcome to Hollywood and buying um this is a character uh Buffet dining experience we’re going to see Pluto Mickey Minnie I can’t even remember who else um but we’re going to take you with us we hope you enjoy [Music] [Music] right Kelly’s going to go so this is a buffet here at Hollywood and Vine you can queue up and get as many times as you like the server will take your plat that’s what we like to have right let’s have a little look at what we got so we got the bread the fatcha there’s bread roll and butter I’m not going to have bread I don’t bread right we got the Caesar salad we got the ranch dressing right there we got balsamic dressing green got this dressing cherry tomatoes ooh DIC cucumbers they got banzo beans I don’t know what garbanzo beans are all right let me have some garbanzo beans this is probably the healthiest thing I’m going to have you don’t want olives uh not right now I’m going to come back to the olives uh shreddy cheese oh look eggs shade red onions they’ve got uh chickpeas radish and feta cheese right there right we’ve got chicken noodle soup right there or vegetarian chili interesting that does look quite nice okay this is the fresh you want any of that no no no I’ll open have as I go along tell me what you want the variety fresh Bowl so we’ve got two types of melon there they melon uh panzanella salad which is looks like the almost like a potato potato salad that’s Panella salad that’s the fresh beet salad right there that looks good can could you put some fresh beet salad on for me that’s the um Coast Flor right there look at those peel and each shrimp can you put a couple of those on for me as well the peel and each shrimp um and we’ve also got the lemons there if you want it they do have croutons right there right let’s move on to the hot food oh wow we got sour cream and chai whipped potato I shall have some of that please okay going to do some on for me look at that this is seared salmon with miso paste Wasabi cream and wasabi peas that looks incredible salmon cakes so you know the score a bit for both of me please pul Mar or four so baked marinated chicken they have the caramelized Brussel Sprite I will definitely want some of those I think as well uh and they’ve got the olive oil crushed potatoes that looks Absolut absolutely delicious I’m definitely going to try some of these and some of these right let’s move on right we’ve got mushroom Roto we’ve got crispy tofu uh with Asian glaze we got yucka is it yucka and Mojo I don’t know what that is but that looks amazing and we got uh oh lemon rice cilantro lemon rice oh wow okay so coriander and lemon rice let’s try a bit of this okay we’ve got beef with roast vegetables cheesy cauliflower cheese sorry cheesy cauliflower or cauliflower cheese uh spiced rub porkloin did you get some of this yeah I thought you might do the Mexican street corn the shrimp squid ink pasta that looks amazing and meatballs with barbecue sauce and pineapple look at that the shrimp ink uh looks incredible the shrimp squid ink pasta that’s half a me say and the Mexican corn I’m going to have to try some of this they’ve also got beef strip loin right there look at that that’s really red and juicy you can also get horse Rish shorts with it if you wish uh they’ve got the kids menu there as well youve got the chicken nuggets the mini corn dogs the potato barrels and the kids mac and cheese also you’ve got white rice baked chicken broccoli and carrots and also pen pasta with marinara this is the kids menu here but it does look good as well I love mac and cheese so I might have some of that a bit later on I almost missed that they’ve got the gravy there as well you can also have roasted turkey there’s a little bit left there but they do have the roasted turkey if you fancy [Music] a lovely day look we got Min your birthday it’s my birthday thank you Minnie thank you so much a you like my ears thank you so much can we get a photo here we go get a photo with [Music] Minnie right just before we start uh just to remind you is it’s a carrot St experience you’ve just seen uh mini as we were waiting w we that was incredible okay what have you got so I got I tried to get a little bit of everything that I felt that I would like so I have some red onion I have a fish cake I have some barbecue meatballs I have the cilantro rice I have the squidding pasta I have a bit of um uh mac and cheese I have a corn a mini corn dog would you believe um I also have I have mashed potato well look who it is it lovely to see it’s goofy how are you how are you oh can we get a photograph goofy would that be okay let me so again here’s goofy let’s get a hug a look at [Music] that sorry okay so here we go uh apologies for that we just but it was so good to see the the characters okay this is the BR SP good that is so good really it’s salty it’s charry it’s soft it’s not like the typical brel spout you still get that Russel spout sort of like bitterness to it but it’s Pleasant it’s all right now I’m try the ratoo I’m really looking forward to this it’s cheesy it’s creamy it’s a bit too cheesy for me but Mark is really going to enjoy that oh that’s interesting I’m not a big fan of result so I’m going to try yeah I know now just so just in the side the I think the reason why we’ve had the characters come around so quickly is it’s very quiet in here very quiet we’ve come at a good time so we’ve come at half 2 in the afterno yeah but what you got here this is mashed potato all right let’s give that a go that mash potato it’s creamy it’s buttery it’s really nice I really like that much potato all right you’re going for the kids stuff obviously why wouldn’t I I am jealous actually you got the mac and cheese okay here we go love potato TOS what not to love good potato that tastes a bit like a hash B of love right Mark’s favorite mac and cheese my favorite mac and cheese I don’t think Mark quite you no I didn’t this time around and we have to go for a second trip I’ll taste some on his behalf thank you good yeah I mean it’s good as far as mac and cheese goes I know you’re not the world’s biggest fan of mac and cheese but it’s quite nice it’s fine okay it’s not overly it’s not overly cheesy it’s not overly do you know what sometimes like you can overdo mac and cheese like it’s like too cheesy or it’s not that’s just Pleasant it’s Pleasant all right this is the squid ink P now I am very much looking forward to trying oh my god wow wow wow wow wow LIF my plate up cuz I’m going to CH it well done [Music] oh e [Music] I would 100% go up and get some more of these so nice good I I’m looking forward to sampling that that’s the nacho and um lime is it I I believe so okay now this was the yuck or something or yeah now I wanted to see this it looks like a giant chip yeah oh sorry I dropped the camera that’s okay um it tastes Sal black potato but not okay is it like a yam you you know sound inamed do you know what like I said to you guys before either something is worth the calories or it isn’t to me it’s not worth the calories this one yeah yeah it’s okay all right all these meatballs these are the meatballs the [Music] meatballs you’re good yeah I don’t know I think there might be some sort of cheese in it that doesn’t lend itself to this meatball ah okay now I have heard of Meatballs we cheesing them before but it’s a barbecue one I’m not saying that bar doesn’t go with cheese because it does but it doesn’t go in this meat unfortunately okay okay okay so let’s go for oh the fish cake now this this this is the salmon fish C this really appealed to me I was really looking forward to trying this good nothing you know but it’s a good fish a yeah M’s going to like it yeah it looks good and I like the cream on top of it now you will seen from one of our earlier videos we did go to um the Crystal Palace which also so we did this for breakfast this is the lunchtime menu so he wanted to try something a little different but the breakfast was absolutely outstanding now you’ve got the corn dog there I didn’t think you tried yet right in front of you a little fish got a little bit spice to okay I like a little bit of spice all right I’m not very fond of corn dogs I like I like Korean corn dogs but I’m not fond of normal so let’s give it a try this corn is better than other corn do that I’ve try okay for sure show it to the camera I’m going to try and zoom in there as well so it’s essentially it’s a it’s a hot dog like with battery yeah I’ll get this again this is quite nice okay that’s good that’s I’ll get this again this is yeah I like it right have you tried everything on that or what have you got left I haven’t I’ve got the pork left oh chicken nugget okay and the olive oil crushed potatoes oh okay we’re going to start with those again itch try I am itching to try these ones as well I don’t know that combo of olive oil and potato I really like no yeah yeah you’re going to enjoy that all right Chen nugget the chicken nugget lost it’s crispiness a bit but that’s because of potatoes on of it there’s been a bit of crunch there nice good I get that again especially to dip in my May which KY had and the last but not least is the pork now you I noticed you didn’t get any brisket no because I was going to have to wait for them to cut it and they hadn’t cooked it to the way that I like it was too pink for me you can probably ask him to do a bit more but anyway yeah but try look who it is this is good but it’s dry a that’s a shame yeah but it is good i’ get another C who it is again it’s goofy do you want another hug and we got Pluto here we go we’re going to take another photog look another hug a so this is all part of the character dining experience right look at this you got Pluto here look they’ve all come at once how you doing can we get your photograph [Music] yeah so I’m going to go with Kelly as well this is the uh Sprite oh wow you for yeah good really spicy really hot I welcome to’s D and today is really Shing up to be a good day we found Min a great day the best day I think there’s Chinese f b no there isn’t are you sureh to stay seated as our Disney friends come by right that’s so rich that’s so creamy exactly let me TR right they’re going to do the walk R okay this is the tofu I forgot to get the tofu oh wow I’m really good right I’m going to try some I’m really really good it’s got a lovely glaze to it sticky glaze oh nice right I’m going to try oh this is the squid in pasta what’s interesting is if you do come at this time like I said we’ve had the cars come about five or six times when we in Crystal Palace we got them once maybe yeah all one yeah there’s hardly anybody in here [Music] yeah that squiding pasta is really nice it’s got a nice cheesy element too which I do like that’s what I said I knew you would like it yeah I I like that very cheesy if you’re not into cheese that’s not for you yeah right let’s try that cilantro rice oh that is so good so good cry it’s slightly fried the right it’s slightly oily which is quite nice okay now I’m going to try I’m only whing through you sorry because the car is going to come any second now yeah so uh here we go oh that’s good that’s the potato olive oil that really do you know what it adds almost like a creaminess to them but they’ve not they’ve not mashed them they’ve just crushed them yeah crushed them look really good okay salmon so this is the Miso glaz salmon yeah now it’s a lot on my plate so we’re going to the Miso obviously got a bit of a kick to it but there isn’t too much on there it’s got a slight Sal which is nice that is wonderful that salmon is superb but eat that all day the only thing I was a little disappointed they didn’t have was um cornbread I was hoping they would have some cornbread okay this is the salmon fish cake now I know what you mean but you’re thinking it’s dry yeah there’s hardly any potato in there that’s pretty much all Salon pretty much all salmon yeah for sure I cuz they crushed it and then fried it that’s what made it tastes a bit dry but to me that is delicious yeah I knew you would like it cuz I know yeah really really can you taste a little bit of a cake it’s got a little bit a little bit it’s hit me now a little bit Yeah it hits you after yeah right what else I got right let me try the uh there’s so much on this I know now I’m not really a risotto fan this is okay I knew what you’re saying about the there’s a lot of cheese in here yeah and it’s like um it’s what I would call an american cheese taste so it’s quite depends on your palette the thing is I I find that a lot of the stuff that’s on my plate is containing cheese and I don’t always want cheese no I there is a lot of cheese in this yeah right now talking to cheese this is the um the uh cauliflower cheese oh you like cifl cheese and didn’t see that’s really good that is really really good the coliflower cheese they call it cheesy cauliflower but we in England call it cauliflower cheese yeah there’s a SL crunch to it m there’s a spice in there that’s quite nice it always makes it sweet that’s really good okay guys we’re not there don’t worry how much is he right this is the beetro salad yeah is it pickled it’s pickled but what’s nice about it they’ve they’ve chopped it up it looks like with potato no it’s not they’re different Beach yeah so yeah it’s different beetro dinner salad that’s really good I think all the character I suppose that’s what makes it a salad the different types of beetroots I think the characters have all gone in now this is probably the best time for us to do the um yeah right what else have I got in here I’ve got so much I’ve got more I order oh yeah okay let’s try these beans I want to try these beans these are look like edari they’re quite salty but in a good way it’s really nice actually but um I’m going to I’m not very good at peeling oh yeah this is your BS so I’m just going to S deep dra them whil on my f as best I can there you go I’m taking off the skin I’ll take the off as well I know this isn’t the way but what’s good they’ve actually devain them okay they look devain to me yeah look de which is good so they taking a bit out I’ve got a little bean on there as well they’re really juicy wow I don’t know how they D them with the thinging but they are really juicy that’s good all in all it’s a really nice place of food just be wary obviously with it if you don’t like there’s certain elements yeah cuz there a lot of it is a little bit cheesy it’s a bit too cheesy for me I am definitely going up for more the brel is incredible yeah yes please thank you um so our server was just asking us if we want more cranberry juice which we do I don’t know what it is I think there’s a there’s a fire spice well I’m find out if there’s a fire Spice in there but overall this the food is really nice yeah really really nice right we’re going to CH down and then we’re going to go for dessert it’s Mi look who it is it’s Mickey take after you you know there we are look at that [Music] I feel like a little boy again the waitress oh you did really well so I’ve gone out for a second plate yes I have but I’ve gone for my favorite things that I tried so I’ve gone for the um cilantro R I’ve gone for this oh that was the tof fu this is really good but I want to try the pasta oh the mac and cheese the mac and cheese cuz I haven’t you didn’t try that [Music] I don’t know what it is I love mac and cheese and no matter how many times I have it in the UK it’s never never the same as it here is in the US it just isn’t um I’ve got my salmon again the Miso salmon which I really love the crushed um potatoes but I’ve gone for all out those Sprouts which are wonderful you’ve also got sweet corn which you yeah let me try the corn let me try the corn I did cuz I wanted to try that then I’ve tried everything that’s non meat that’s different yeah it’s real sour taste good but it’s actually very very pleasant um I really like that excuse me right the other bit I did have with the cheese it has this wonderful crispy topping now cuz it was right near the end last time I didn’t get the crispy topping so let me have it crispy topping and I don’t know what this herb is he got lemon in ah what did you say to me if the server comes around again oh yeah I said no more top up for the drink because it’s taking up valuable food stuff right so now he doesn’t want any more juice no cuz it’s taking up valuable food space right now I must say um they charge you um so the uh about the drinks okay so the meal is $63 per person right and it’s a buff a it’s all you can eat the drink is extra but that is also refillable so if you get like a fruit juice or a soda it’s free refills on that as well but we will uh talk about the bill uh once it arrives once we finish okay guys I am done kayy is still working on hers oh I’m done oh you’re done is that you did well you did well it was a lot of food there I’ve done two plates I’m a but I haven’t eaten all day that’s my excuse anyway right let’s try that dessert it does does look good dessert station looks amazing oh wow so for dessert I’m at the dessert station here we’ve got the seasonal bread pudding the apple crisp now I’m assuming this is a bit like an apple crumble we have the sugar cookies we have the Bavarian chocolate cake wow look at that that looks really really good the cookies look good too uh these are the chocolate chip cookies if you fancy those this is red velvet cupcake um I’m assuming inside of there is the red velvet cake I like it’s in the green packaging this is the blueberry tart sorry the blueberry and lemon tart and last but not least the coconut cake they also have if you want the ice cream dispenser of soft serves you can have chocolate Center twist it mixes the two with vanilla okay so there we are there you have it that’s a dessert station okay we’re at the final stage of dessert what have you got so I got the apple crisp um the uh lemon and blueberry tart the uh coconut cake don’t know if it was pineapple and coconut cake and then the Bavarian chocolate cake okay and me I went for the bread pudding uh I got a massive dollar of ice cream although it’s melting already this is how hot it is here the uh apple apple crisp and I got a sugar cookie so I really want to try that sugar cookie that bread pudding I can see the steam coming off I know hey look who it is again it’s goofy hello again we’re going to get another photograph I think and then we’re going to try our desserts I’m going okay now I’ve eaten a lot today so here we go this is the Apple the apple crisp yeah and I have it some ice cream oh Alam mode m the chisp topping is really good yeah it’s really oy yes if you can try and get the topping now the thing is as well when you take a big spoonful of it I know it’s only the the sauce that comes out this is and the oat get stuck to the spoon try and I I did an old fashioned scrape that’s what I did that’s what I did okay good yeah it’s very sweet right okay this is the bread pudding which I up bre put it that’s it tastes like a it’s really it’s like a hug in a bowl on a plate your mom used to make it didn’t she it’s really comforting this it’s it’s got the the um the cinnamony taste but it’s really really soft and bowy excuse me I’ve got something stuck in my throat no it’s delicious it’s it’s almost got like a bananie taste to it texture cuz you were saying it’s sort of like bananie but there’s no banana in it no it’s really good I love that I might get some more of that okay last but not least I’m going to try the sugar for you it’s nice what’s it taste of is it soft is it crisp no it’s very very soft is it like a short bread it’s difficult to say it’s just like a it hasn’t got unique it’s just like what I say a b standard cookie taste but because it’s soft there’s no snap to it it’s soft now I like soft I don’t like hard see I do biscuit type cookie don’t this is more soft so you prefer a cookie whereas I prefer a biscuit no no I’m not going to like it if it’s like soft like no I’m not going to like it um it’s not over the top thing it’s um but it’s Pleasant it’s nice sometimes and that’s not all the time but sometimes when have a soft biscuit tastes like it’s stale no it certainly doesn’t taste stale but overall the bread pudding for me is the absolute winner I haven’t tried the but this that is definitely the start to show wow okay so uh we have cooled off a little bit as you can see the sun has gone down a little bit we’re going through or just coming back back from I keep want to say Tatooine where we coming back from Galaxy Galaxy’s Edge I keep saying Tatooine hence a reason it’s a bit dark in here so we’re going to do our final thoughts for Hollywood and Vine so what did you think I enjoyed it um don’t give all like the elements and Su I thought it’s okay but on the whole I think it was it’s really good and I liked the desserts especially the apple crisp oh the apple crisp is delicious yeah I liked the um the fish c as well I liked the salmon um the chicken nuggets were good uh the other elements were okay that cilantro rice um uh lime rice was really nice yeah yeah I agree so overall like as Kelly said as well I did think the mains were really nice the Entre were really good the uh the rice was delicious I love the tofu and the salmon for me and was delicious I was going to say the star of the show but actually the sprats were Sur good they were really really good now it is pricey yes it’s $65 $63 $63 per person not including tax so that is quite a lot our bill came to about $134 and that’s not including the tip no so it’s a lot for two people the I mean and depending on what size tip you want to leave because there’s 18% 20% and 22% we paid in between 18 and 20% so I think 18% might have been $22 and then 20% $25 so just over $25 we left $25 yeah that’s one way of saying we left $25 so uh yeah the like I said the food is not the best quality you’ll ever get but you know say it is a nice and like I say it’s as much as you can eat uh that includes the desserts as well you are really paying for the character experience so I don’t I can’t speak for every day and every time but the fact is we went at about 2:30 3:00 yeah and the thing thing is normally anywhere from sort of like I suppose 11:30 to like 2 2:30 is considered lunchtime I guess and we went after the lunchtime rush so that’s a good time to go well as far as we could see it was really really quiet in there and then sorry you could tell coming on to sort of like 5:00 like 4 5:00 time it started to get busier it did as well yeah absolutely now you could tell how quiet it was because there those characters kept coming round and round and round again you know we never got that Crystal Palace and that’s no add disc to Crystal Palace Crystal Palace was so busy we only got to see each character once where as uh we must have seen Mickey about five times yeah Mickey Minnie and Pluto and Goofy yeah they kept coming round and round um but there was so little people in the restaurant it wasn’t busy at all at the time that we went no ex we could film comfortably we didn’t feel any typ of way no um and we also have come at a quiet time anyway which is May yeah exactly exactly so Burnie question is would you go again oh God yes I have to say I would too like I said you do bump up the price for the character experience um but if you have young children is definitely they were they were loving the young kids there however there are two other restaurant I would like to try before I go back there again so um I really want to do the and one of the restaurants is actually next door they actually share a restom so it’s the other one that I want to try and then there’s the movie one where you sit in a car it’s like Burger food like B American sort of like fair but I definitely want to sit there don’t want to go and D anyway so there we go I hope you like that video as always please like share and subscribe it helps us make more videos and
