The Walt Disney World Resort is renowned for its ability to transport guests to a myriad of different far away lands and fantastically imaginative worlds and few nations evoke as much nostalgia or imagination as Italy. Italian cuisine and culture has been a hallmark offering at not only Walt Disney World but the majority of theme parks throughout the world and few do it well.

We’ve had varying experiences with Italian Restaurants at Walt Disney World and a few years ago we started a series where we attempt to find the best Italian restaurant at the most magical place on Earth. We’ve dined at Trattoria Al Forno, Il Mulino, and Via Napoli thus far. Before we filmed this video, Il Mulino was our favorite but many of our subscribers had stated Ravello at the Four Seasons Orlando was unquestionably the best.

Ravello imports the majority of its ingredients from Italy along with making its pasta and gelato in-house daily. The Four Seasons Orlando is located inside Walt Disney World’s exclusive high end housing development, Golden Oak. Most single night stays at this resort go for well above $1,000 dollars.

To celebrate our 4 year YouTube Channel Anniversary, we dined at Ravello to see if it lives up to the hype. Not to spoil the video but we were quite impressed. is Rell the best restaurant in all of Walt Disney World let’s [Music] see hello everyone I’m Jay and I’m Sam and you are watching the theme park Foodies and we’re here for the very first time at the Four Seasons Orlando to celebrate four years of theme park Foodies makes sense right Four Seasons years think of that yeah uh we’re actually here because a few years back we we did a series we’re still in the process of doing a series where we tried to find the best Italian restaurant in all of Walt Disney World and a lot of people said it was rll which is located here at the Four Seasons outside the grand and this is probably the fanciest restaurant in Walt Disney World it’s located inside Golden Oak you’ll have to show them your ID before you come in here it’s about a mile down after you enter enter Golden Oak it’s beautiful in here it is and last year this restaurant was the first restaurant in the United States to receive 100% Italian taste certification which comes from an organization in Milan Italy and to meet that criteria they have to import oil flour meat and D from Italy they have to have Italian staff in the kitchen that are fluent um they have to have more Italian ones than regular ones so this is the real deal yeah I I don’t think the bar is very high for for this restaurant to jump in regards to our number two or our number one right now I should say our number one isolino IL Molino which is a New York based Tratoria they actually have a restaurant in New York IL Molino uh We’ve eaten at Tratoria Al we’ve had a few other Italian restaurants honestly the only one we’ve we’ve really enjoyed and want to go back to is il Molino cuz it do remind us of New York Italian food we’re New Yorkers from Island we’re both Italian so we have a bit of an eye for Italian cuisine although I do know from experience and from filming these videos a lot of people have a lot of opinions about Italian food and also we even though we are Italian we do say things wrong yeah we still probably going to say things wrong we’re for warning you but rebello I’m thinking might not might not just be the best Italian restaurant in w disne old I’m expecting the best Italian restaurant experience in North America we’ve also both been to Italy and I’ve had Italian actual Italian food in Italy before yeah so fresh pizza fresh pasta housemade lemon cello uh they make their gelato in house with ingredients from Italy so I mean I don’t it can’t get more Italy than this yes I’m hoping for some good pizza and some good gelato I’m not for of anything yeah and all this is the main tower here and you’ll get great views if you stay here of the theme park fireworks also look at like the attention to detail and like the design of like the balconies over here the rooftops and such very beautiful as you walk in you’ll find some Spanish palm trees which make it feel a bit more upscale there’s also a kind a grand Fountain right in the center which adds more to the kinetic environment let’s head inside though design elements in here definitely feel very Mediterranean to me the chandelier kind of looks like dandelions almost I’m not sure if it’s supposed to look like that and it looks out onto the golf course and a very calming pool area I don’t think you’re actually supposed to go in that pool though more of a fountain now as we walk in we’ll have to head right to get to Rella we actually have to go down to the first floor check desk is also to the right as well feels very abstract I’m definitely getting Mediterranean Vibes when we get to the end of the hallway we have actually have to head right and these are the elevators oh one opened like for us that was ominous and floor one is Rell we can see ourselves very well you know what’s weird I use the restroom and you there’s like a mirror across from you while I use the restroom and here we are Rell oh it’s oh it’s huge two levels in here we’re dining on the first level they got us a nice view of the kitchen they said oh right here we have a nice little corner so as you walk in to the left will be the checken desk and the bar to the right will be the waiting area we also have a staircase that goes up to the second level um as you walk past you’ll see some of those fresh made pastas that they of course make here in house as well as their famous a few of their famous wines let’s check out the menu so surprisingly the prices aren’t two bag $8 for the tomato and mozzarella faka so they use multiple dips with this they’re apparently known for that obviously have some muscles Barada uh Water Crest herb ricot cucumber pickle Red Onion that’s the insela a caesar salad they’re also known for these meatballs which they use five different Meats for we had to get them we already ordered them obviously calamari beef tenderloin some salmon grilled arter chokes it was hard to pick only like one or two things that we wanted off of here then we have the pizzas we did order a margarita pizza cuz we had to try the pizza out we did really like the pizza at Rino they have a Pudo with barata pizza and um Italian sausage pepperoni cure it’s kind of like a meat lovers Pizza the Bianca is the favorite of our server he likes it cuz it has the ricota the mushrooms the rug the TRU oil is apparently very good and they have this pizza at the bottom which kind of has tons of little little things on it then of course we have the past pastas which they make fresh in house Sam’s getting this paparel bologan they also of course have a classic spaghetti risotto these raviolis are one of their signature dishes they are actually the recipe of the executive Chef’s grandmother and then um they have this one at the bottom that I cannot pronounce as far as the main Entre go I don’t think we’re all be getting any of these but I wanted to show you them they have a sear tuna a ve grilled chicken uh they are known for the Branzino and the bisca the prime uh the rib the ribey B bista sorry the bista and then on the back of this you can find their signature wines and Cocktails and again the majority of the wines are imported from Italy as the majority of the food is here as well I did want to show you guys too they have a signature cocktail tablet that they have a tablet they give you to show you their cocktails they also have some soft cocktails which Sam and I usually go for I got the blueberry lemonade and Sam which one did you get I got strawberry Sam got the strawberry Fizz you can also see all their wines and beers on here too you get a couple options all right so they had a little small starter to start us with um I’m not seeing a full bread service I guess this is just it think there’s a little bread or crispy Pachi at the bottom what else is on this Sam I think it’s a tomato marmalade okay let’s try it out definitely some cheese on top they have a bread service on the appetizer menu so I guess there’s no complimentary one tomatoes are using a very sweet it’s good complin of cheese bread kind of just breaks away it’s solid definitely tastes high quality feel I’m getting a sense of like fig or something in there too I would give it a seven it’s good good pallet cleanser all right so I got the blueberry lemonade is it is as it sounds they also do have agave St straws here which I’m a big fan of they’re the superior straw I would assume this is at the in-house made the hard thing with a lemonade is finding the correct balance of sweet with tartness go too tart this tastes like you’re drinking lemon juice you go too sweet tastes like you’re drinking sugar water but when you find that right balance that’s that’s what makes it really good I think the blueberries add a nice unique tartness of their own to the flavor of the lemonade definitely not too sweet can taste the quality it’s made in house this this considered a soft cocktail or a mocktail if you did want to add something to it I think probably some vakka would go good with this I would give this a nine it’s a very good mocktail definitely order again and um if I was like 10 years old I’d feel like I was drinking a really elevated lemonade all right so Sam got these strawberry Fizz which is strawberry puree mint leaves simple syrup lime juice and ginger beer so there should be a nice Ginger hint to this probably some Bubbles as well it’s not as bubbly as I thought it would be it’s really good I really like the um strawberry puree I can taste like the thickness of the puree it’s refreshing the mint the lime I give this an eight it’s really good this is probably some of the best mocktails I think we’ve had on Disney property it’s really good I’m going to go nine you going to go 10 n oh nine nine okay all right so we’re starting off of course with a pizza this is their Margarita Pizza it looks like a classic Pizza you get in like New York or kind of the one we got at IL Molino it includes tomato basil mozzarella we topped it off with a little fresh parmesan cheese cuz you know we had to you can see salmon here there’s some thick pieces of mozzarella that look like they had scattered about I got to find myself a good slice oh you can feel that with all the flavor look at that cheese P look at the crispy bottom on that yeah and I think that they they import the water from Italy to make the pizza yes let’s try it out the undercarriage on this is pristin this is what you want little bit of Grease coming up you know look at the cheese p on it you tell the mozzarella is fresh the sauce does take on like a back seat to the crust and the mozzarella cheese and the basil so good it’s kind of just like a light saucing which is kind of what you want for this very good I would give this a I would give this a nine this is the best pizza I’ve had in Disney and I’m really excited for you to have it all right so forgive me on my pronunciation this is the Palpatine and includes five different types of meat inside those meatballs it’s topped with a masone cream uh there’s actually Bruto in there along with ve and they give you this little bread as well to dip in that delicious sauce look at the center of that meatball you can tell just by the color of the sauce that it’s a good sauce like that’s a good red right Ain dye in that red sauce doesn’t look artificial I can imagine I imagine these being so tender it’s the the most tender me fall that I’ve ever had like it literally just melts away it’s so good the sauce has a little bit of a sweetness oh my gosh are they salty at dos I feel like P is a bit of a salty meat tiny bit but I think because the sauce is a little sweet that it kind of just like counteracts the saltiness you can see look how much they just like fell apart I got to give it a 10 I I was expecting nothing less than a 10 on those right dinner is served I got their famous ravioli and Sam you got the pap radel bolones it looks so good the peino is like a work of art like I I almost don’t want to eat it but I will it’s a beautiful dish we also got it topped with some fresh parmesan cheese and you can see the fresh propell they have on display showing they actually make this in house I wonder if it’s going to be more kind of soft or more El dente more alate it’s so good it’s s of the best pasta that I’ve ever had the sauce is just you know nice savory Rich hearty meaty sauce I’m assuming that there’s pork and beef in the banese I also tastes a little bit usually Banes has um like carrots in it as well it tastes like a little bit of like sweetness it’s really good one thing I want to say is I wish that they had a chicken parm on the menu that’s like my favorite thing I guess it’s not traditional Italian this isn’t yeah this is really good though I’m going to give it a nine wow a nine so the meatballs are the only 10 so far right yeah but I’m not complaining like and nine is pretty good yeah nine we rarely give nines actually we may have given a few nines recently we did a lot of top five bests but this is good all right so this is the ravioli they’re famous for it the executive Chef’s grandma like perfected this recipe um I think there’s Beal in there what else is in this s there is also uh spinach ricotta wild mushrooms and a truffle Essence the essence of the Truffle how do you how do you get the essence out of a truffle wonder what magic they had to stir up sounds like it’s something from like Harry Potter all right let’s try this out the beel is so tender and the ravioli is so soft like you can tell they make this in house you can see like the spinach in the center add a nice light earthiness to it but it’s like just so like melt in your mouth like all the flavors and then I really love this sauce cuz it’s like kind of this light truffle Essence yes it’s an Essence it feels like there’s an Essence in there shuffle all over your face I’m going Happ Pi go 10 that’s probably one of the best gravioli I’ve ever had I would like this sauce with like red sauce is it better than Deer Park rulis oh Sam I don’t think we need to compare deer park raviolis to to to executive chef Grandma raviolis but they’re both very good you guys that don’t know in Long Island there’s a place in Deer Park where you can get raviolis call Deer Park raviolis they’re delicious I grew up eating these raviolis so you should get them if you live or near Long Island these are very good though I would say they’re on the same level all right so we’ve retrieved the dessert menu let’s break it down all right so of course they start with a tiasu they actually make the lady fingers in house in here they have a um not even going to try to say that but it’s a toroni cake espresso I think Sam just said it right Italian chocolate cake which apparently has like a nice dark chocolate bitter flavor um they have a vanilla panata I’m not a big panakot fan um pistachio tartufo so this has pistachio gelato and it’s a flowerless chocolate cake then they have the housemade gelotti looking at you pistachio uh then they have a vegan sorbet and a apag that’s a vanilla housemade gelato they have of course their cocktails got to have a lemon chillo you’re at an Italian restaurant and on the back you can see the Bourbons they have some dessert wines rise Italian leor Scotch conac all right so we couldn’t choose which dessert we wanted so we got three we’re going to start off with the pistachio gelato now Sam and I have both had gelato in Italy before and I think anyone who’s had gelato in Italy will agree that the US gelato none of it just none of it Compares but apparently this gelato does according to our server I feel like you could just like tell by the color and the texture that it’s going to be good and this is pistachio generous size so we asked for one scoop and this is Apparently one scoop I do like how they brought it in a big metal tin I feel like ice cream tastes better when it’s in a metal tin does it taste like Italy yes it does oh my God I’m going a 10 10 wo that’s crazy I have to try it all right so Sam knows I’ve been on an ice cream kick recently like even I’m usually when I’m I eat pretty good when we’re not filming but like I just had this craving for ice cream in particular good gelato look how creamy that is it curls off I know that’s what I said you could just tell by looking at it like I knew just on looks alone that it was going to be good it’s the texture so good it’s like I didn’t have words for it like I really didn’t say much because I didn’t have the word the right words it’s not crazy sweet too it feels like there’s like it’s we there’s like a bitterness in there right Neely that creaminess wow so you taste the pistachio like you’re eating creamy but you almost taste like you have a pistachio in your mouth that’s what it is it’s not bitter it’s earthy Earth is from the forward pistachio flavor I agree that’s a 10 that’s the best chilato I’ve had outside Italy man this is a restaurant to seriously I feel like go out of your way for if you’re a Disney World and look you for Italian for you all right so this is the Italian chocolate cake it’s a mix of dark and milk chocolate what I don’t like about the dessert so far is there’s this uh fake gold to the top I’m not a fan of the fake gold I won’t hold it against it it’s just that I just think it it’s fancy to be fancy doesn’t add to flavor you’re at the Four Seasons all right they put gold on their desserts like get over it uh there’s also some masone cream on top let’s see how this peels chocolate cate’s got to peel good peel well I should say oh wow this is good s it’s got the right amount of bitterness to it I believe you samim you weren’t going to try this on camera but I have to give you just a little taste it gives me the the you know the valona cake from Califoria grill that we love same level of bitterness from that I’m not sure if they use that type of chocolate in here cuz I know it’s like a rare type of chocolate wow this is so good I’m go 10 so far 21 from dessert for three got Sam 10 to this has been really good all right Sam’s a big tiasu fan so you know she had to get the tiasu I have gold on mine but I’m not going to cry about it um so they have lady they make the lady fingers in house in here yeah once he like honestly the whole dessert menu like we were having trouble deciding and then once he said that they make the lady fingers in house I was like okay yeah wow we’re right next to the kitchen so there just a big giant fire going on oh what are they cooking over there it is so good the bottom layer is like completely saturated in that like espresso and I feel like there’s a Lor in it like it’s very it’s very strong though like the core taste so good so creamy the cocoa I’m going to give it a nine wow a nine so two 10 and a nine they’ve scored a lot of 10 today before we head out I wanted to show you guys they have this covered outdoor kind of indoor patio has a nice aesthetic to it a beautiful view of the fountain they also have outdoor seating that has view view of this like orb and a view of the Grand Fountain as well walk outside I just wanted to bring up the architecture and the landscaping again you see kind of those grand columns that Adorn the outside of the building you can see all the different Spanish palm trees and the carefully curated grounds all right so that is it for our time dining at rello Sam is this the best Italian restaurant in all of Walt Disney World in your opinion absolutely it’s very I usually have trouble answering those kind of questions cuz I hate giving such like a definitive solid answer but yes yeah as far as food quality goes this was far and above the best I do have some gripes I will go over and and they’re not like big gripes cuz the food quality was so good and the price was really good too that whole meal you saw that us eat no discounts anything $132 and very high and we got three desserts yeah with we usually especially at like signature dining easily like 15 to 200 like without even blinking our bill is that high so I was expecting 200 and it wasn’t it was actually 136 very reasonably price for the quality agreed uh one gripe I have is that you don’t have a full bread service that’s included I like bread service a lot especially at Italian restaurants that was the biggest thing that I had about TR Toria al Forno there was no bread service and as an Italian from New York it’s expected but I think people said at tror Al Forno that you could ask for bread oh I didn’t know I thought you had to pay for it I think I think that’s that’s the case there but anyway second gripe and this is the only other thing um I do think gold no the gold wasn’t I do think that the the portion sizes uh weren’t as big as I expected as an Italian or someone who’s used to Italian food in New York I felt that way too but I also feel like it’s quality over quantity I would agree with that idea and also the pricing is we were just holding hands that that cute you can’t see it but we were holding hands that’s nice um usually just have my arm around you which is also you no usually like he tickles my back all the the time like he doesn’t mean to but I’m like can you stop yeah well cuz I’m I talk with my hands a lot uh anyway I would say number two is definitely IL Molino um El Molino does have a bread service I think ELO’s Pizza is very good they have a great uh like shuie board I was missing like a meat and cheese yeah so there were certain things we were missing here I think this is more classic actual Italian fair if you’re looking for like New York Italian food I would definitely recommend elino but I think food quality here is definitely far and above some of the best not only for Italian
