I’m recovering from stomach flu and this honestly looks like something I could digest and enjoy right now.
gothgonzola
That’s kinda nice and healthy. If it was served hot and on a plate I’d mop it up and be grateful. Free food, hey!

Workable if the sauce/gravy looking thing is good

As someone who was once homeless, unemployed and hungry, I would still fucking demolish this
AsparagusOverall8454
Seems good to me. Why complain about free food?
Put some salt on it and stop complaint. Sheesh.
Kaiju-Mom22
This looks like a typical restaurant version of turkey dinner with the bonus that the vegetables aren’t overcooked.

As someone who has never been homeless but always and I mean always appreciated food and especially a free meal I would eat this whole heartedly and lick my lips afterwards.

Why are so many people talking about GRATITUDE lmfao, OP worked on holiday and got served with some turkey and steamed vegetables. I mean it’s edible but don’t pretend OP should be salivating with GRATITUDE because he got some bland ass meal, there’s no obligation of worker to be grateful for employer in capitalism. They provided a MEAL. Basic human necessity and right.
And don’t you dare to go on the ‘some people don’t have even that’ route. Yes, they don’t and that’s a huge problem. But it doesn’t invalidate one’s complains.
Maybe it’s a cultural thing, we don’t celebrate Catholic Christmas around here but those comments are wild, truly wild to me.

Honestly. Everything there looks good. I mean, frozen veggies are frozen veggies; about as fun as reheated mushy veggies can be. But Turkey, mash, some Cranberry Sauce even? Thanksgiving is my favorite anyways so this is like a top 10 favorites for me already.
