Recipe for single serving king cake rolls or mini king cakes?

I’ve come across a couple recipes. Before I try one, I was wondering if anyone had one they’ve actually made and recommend?

In the absence of a recommendation, I’m thinking maybe one of these?

What’s weird is these are essentially all the same recipe. Might taste pretty packaged since they all use crescent roll? There’s got to be a better recipe…
