I can only guess that most of the videos aren’t in the south! You cannot do that kind of stuff in small pots very well at all! The heat makes pot and grow bag life extremely difficult! You have to drown it regularly to keep it moist..
Basil and/or marigold go with the majority of edible plants ❤ best insecticide, just rub a few leaves. Tomato, garlic, basil Squash, beans, corn (3 sisters) Eggplant, radish, lettuce/spinach Capsicum, carrot, cucumber Broccoli, beets, spinach/lettuce Cauliflower, alliums, almost all herbs But 9/10 herbs are extroverts and loves their roots cuddling ❤❤❤ I always grow combinations, the plants are bigger, more produce, and its pretty 😊😊
First year I grow edibles, nothing bad happened so I was very happy. The next year, more and more wild animals start to linger and damage my plants! Squash got one big bite while the size was really big before ripe. Tomatoes were trashed when almost ripe then with bite marks! Even moles damaged the plant roots!
Do not rely on your luck, gardeners! Plan and build your edible garden with the most security otherwise you will be upset and disappointed the most of time.
That carrot and peppers is a great idea!!! I planted carrots alone and regretted it so much. It was a great full sun bed producing nothing consistently
I also had issues with mint. Years ago, I made this mistake, and it took over! I would keep it by itself in a pot and off the ground. Love the videos! Your garden is beautiful. Will try carrots with peppers next year.
I'm having problems with this. I plant Herbs but they don't grow much. Don't know if it's the dirt or what. I try again this spring. Insha Allah. Problem maybe I'm in zone 6 Midwest. But it shouldn't be.
Absolutely! Companion planting is a wonderful natural gardening technique that involves growing different plants together to mutually benefit each other.
Our stevias look like twins, lol. I’m hoping mine bushes out more, once the warmer weather comes. I really want to try it. Your garden is looking lovely.
How much sun days needed to grow those herbs so beautifully healthy outside? In cold rainy summer seasons in low lands this is impossible. Greenhouses are needed.

How do you keep your mint from killing the rest of the plants?

The humidity here makes it impossible to grow things so close. Everything gets fungal issues
What zone are you in? These are so healthy
You grow so much in a little space. I admire that. This year I’m going to try for a pumpkin also 🎃
