    Looks like your heat was too high for some of the cooking. How did it come out though?

    A little dark. Did you use molasses in the rub/marinade? I’d smash though

    To high… sugar (especially brown sugar) has a low burn point. Lesson learned. Better next round. Keep it up!

    Is this on a new to you pellet grill? If so, you’d need to do some testing on it to see what the actual temperature is over various parts of the grill grates. My GMG had a temp difference of about 70 degrees from left to right. My Grilla has only about a 25 degree variance, and cooks much more evenly
