You gotta get out more. 🤣 Atlanta burbs have a huge Asian population. Good Bahn Mis everywhere.

  2. Seattle area has great Bahn Mi. Rent ain’t cheap though.

Hey we have good banh mi even in Louisiana 😆

  4. lol you ever seen how fat we are in the south? We have every kind of food to pick from here, and rent is cheap (by comparison).

The 40 per cent of your income would be before other spending, so the banh mi wouldn’t have any effect on the percentage you spend…

I had great Banh Mi in Des Moines IA. Rent was 1190 a month for a 1 bedroom 750 square ft in a nice area of town. This was in 2023.

has anyone here had bad bahn mi? I haven’t. I really haven’t come across a bad Vietnamese restaurant. Probably because they haven’t yet created a Vietnamese Taco Bell.

The ol’ 40-60 rule: spend 40% of your income on rent, and 60% on food

Real af. I moved here for the sun, sandwiches, and a good af range of fast casual – arguably all lacking in Seattle lol /:

Damn only 3 people including OP spells banh mi right

I totally agree, but Texas and Louisiana have huge Vietnamese populations too and cost much less to live. Just something to think about. Enjoy and well wishes my friend!

  12. Wait I’m confused. Does your rent include unlimited Banh Mi?!?!?!
