INGREDIENTS:
220 g (8 ounces) conchiglie, or any other shell-shaped pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
pinch of salt
1/2 medium onion
450 g (1 pound) extra lean ground beef
2 cloves garlic
450 g (2 cups) tomato sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
120 ml (1/2 cup) heavy / whipping cream
Basil (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
Parmigiano-Reggiano (optional)
Dijon mustard (optional but recommended for building layers of flavor)

  4. The funny thing is, some may say, "chicken stock, with beef?" YUP… beef stock (unless homemade) is too intense. I do this with rice dishes.

    And the fact that she makes this look so easy! (It is…) but my production would be more elaborate chaos… "Hey, get down from there, I'm cooking." Almost die tripping over husky, who's hoping there will be sacrificial snacks.
