What happens when you swap out Marsala wine for tequila? To celebrate National Tequila Day, we’re mixing old school flavors with a modern twist. And start with egg yolks and sugar. And instead of marsala, we’re using grand coramino reprisado. It brings a warm vanilla and oy depth to this classic Italian dessert.   1. Instructions

    Bring 1-2 inches of water to a simmer in a saucepan.

    In a heatproof bowl that fits over the saucepan (without touching the water), whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and Gran Coramino Reposado tequila.

    Place the bowl over the simmering water and continuously whisk for about 5-7 minutes, until the mixture thickens and becomes pale, airy, and smooth.

    Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

    Divide the fresh berries among serving glasses or bowls.

    Spoon the warm zabaione over the berries.

    Serve with ladyfingers on the side for dipping.
