As much as I love a party invertebrate, it can somewhat dampen the party mood when I find one chilling in my grill – specifically under the cover near the top vent. I guess they are attracted to the build up of fat up there.
Any tips for stopping slugs getting on to the grill in the first place? Only point of contact with the ground is the legs/base so I’m guessing that’s a good place to start!
I have a KJ Jnr and Big Joe but they prefer the Jnr for some reason.

Afaik slugs won’t cross copper, could try copper tape on the legs?
