Ive been using a WSM for about two years and decided to order a Workhorse Pits 1975. I also considered a Yoder, Franklin or Pits and Spits. I placed my order on Aug 31 and it was delivered yesterday. Currently seasoning it and cant wait to cook on it.

Every ungulate within 50 miles is shook rn
Congrats! I love mine. It cooks great. I got the big tires and no counterweight though. I can’t imagine moving it into the back yard with casters.
Idk anything about smokers but that thing is pretty
I’ve been loving mine for years. I will say I’m glad to hear that their new facility is churning out. Smokers a lot faster. I ordered mine in November and got mine in October of the next year. Also the counterweight wasn’t an option but you should see my forearms after using it for a couple years
Not a diss or anything I promise, but I just looked this beast up and it’s listed at nearly $3k, 3400 “fully loaded”. What makes this worth that hefty price tag? I’ll 100% pay for well constructed and lasting equipment, warranty, etc.
Just curious. (Here comes the laughs) I bought a traeger pro 575 the week it came out and that thing has run 4-6 days a week almost every week for 5ish years. I know (now) the traeger hate but the thing has been worth every penny. Time to retire it, looking at options to grow last “lazy” pellet smokes
Beautiful pit. I’m hoping to upgrade to one of these soon. Keep us updated!
I got mine this summer, and she’s a beast. You’ll love it!
Jealous. Congrats!
That’s hot
