THE SCOOP
Opened in April 2022, this halal restaurant is located next to the Cherry Hill Mall with a wide-ranging menu. There’s also a Wayne location.
THE MENU
A complimentary basket of pita starts the meal. It’s cooked in a wood-fired oven and served warm, with olive oil for dipping. Appetizers include hot and cold dishes like baba ghanoush (a cold, creamy eggplant dip) and crispy cheese phyllo rolls. Entrées include hearty grilled meats and fish options. The Blue Fig Signature Mix is made for two and consists of beef, chicken, lamb, grilled vegetables and your choice of a side. For dessert, the assorted baklava is a sweet standout and perfect to savor with Turkish coffee or tea.
