Here's the latest update on our favorite kale tree.

Last time, she had just bolted during the summer season. I was looking forward to collecting some seeds from the flowers. However, we had a freak Santa Ana Wind event which knocked out some of the branches 😢. So unfortunately due to that, flowering never completed its run and I had to prune some of the weaker branches. I ended up dividing and giving our neighbors a lot of the leaves, etc. so nothing went to waste.

Right now, she's looking a bit skinny, but I expect her to flesh out again as the months go by.

For those who didn't see my last post..I've had this kale since 2021 and it's still going strong.

That’s wild that it just keeps coming back/not dying whichever it may be lol
