I love a breakfast sandwich in the morning but can’t afford to buy them everyday. I change up the ingredients to keep it interesting.
This sandwich:
Kaiser rolls Bacon 7eggs (scrambled and baked in ramekins) Munster cheese
I store the cooked eggs with the meat in a Tupperware. I toast and butter the roll and assemble it each morning. Kaiser rolls can get really hard when stored in the fridge, so that’s why I assemble these daily. If I have a different bread, like a bagel or English muffin, I can assemble them and store them for the week.
Variations I use:
Ham Plant-based patty No meat
Provolone cheese American cheese Swiss cheese
Bagels Toast English Muffins Pita Tortilla Different rolls
I have tried freezing them individually and while that is convenient I don’t like the texture as much.
