Out of all the comments, that’s crazy it’s the same plant just bread in different ways. To feature all amazing parts of it!!! Mahalo for the knowledge ❤️
The leaves you tossed are also very good to eat, if they aren't yellow wash and use them as you would cabbage/kale, they are a bit milder but very delicious!
I have been growing brusselsprout for many years now. When they grow and the sprouts start appearing along the stem, i cut the lateral leaves. I found that doing that helps the plants to grow taller and that gives me a bigger yield.😅
That’s fascinating!! I didn’t know all of those veggies were literally different exaggerated parts of the SAME plant; not just different members of the same plant species, the exact same plant. Had to look it up— can confirm it’s the truth.
Sorry to be that guy but kale, broccoli, sprouts aren't 'literally the same species' – they're from the same genus brassica but they are now separate species.
It is amazing though how we as humans decided to selectively breed the original plant to prioritise different features to create the multiple brassica species we know today. Definitely the tastiest family of vegetables imho!

This is the first time I have ever seen them harvested. Like I knew how le plant looked but never seen it harvested.
My dad's favourites.
Holy shit. That's some impressive information.
They all have similar Vibes but never thought they were the same species with different breeding techno
Can you show how the other parts of the plant can be eaten, please?
Yum awesome
Oh, I do. Grew up in Bedfordshire…
I have never had mine grow in so tight. They always have a long stem.
Never understood as a kid why everyone I knew hated greens. All you gotta do is steam a brusselsprout and find heaven
Update on crows pls

You're the reason I grew Brussels sprouts last year. Love them.
The last time that I planted brussels sprouts they grew as big as palm trees with no sprouts at all. The broccoli right beside them did splendidly…
Vegan love mudering plants and eating it raw

Can you do a video on how to get seeds from different plants so you can have your own supply

Nice, love them as a little girl. I called them baby cabbages.

You can't eat the large leaves?

I had no idea that they grew this way. Thanks!
I hated brussel sprouts growing up, but I hate them steamed or boiled. Roasted is the only way to go for me.
