How to sow seeds in 72 cell seed trays. This is my method for quickly filling up 72 cell seed trays with seed starting mix. It can be difficult to get seed starting mix primarily made with peat moss moist with water before sowing seeds because it is hydrophobic. By filling the cells half way and compacting it down, I am able to push more water through the soil. 72 cell seed trays are my preferred container for sowing large quantities of flower, herbs, corn, and bean seeds.

I’m no gardener but this was great, and well-made! Learned something I didn’t know I wanted to. Thank you!
Do you think nature would use sterile soil to grow seeds. I think not
"Use a gentle shower setting."
She says, while pressure washing and blasting the seed cells.
Sterile soil prevents diseases which can kill young seedlings. Where as older more tough plants can survive some disease. Sprinkle with a dust of cinnamon yo kill damping off .
