This is a little introduction video to let you know who I am, what this beginner vegetable gardening channel is all about – and why you should bother subscribing to Christie Cooper – Green Thumbed Reporter.
My name’s Christie Cooper, I’m a mum of two little kids with a vegetable gardening obsession. I still consider myself a beginner but we’re on a steep learning curve and so far having some great success growing vegetables (and fruit!) in our suburban backyard garden in Melbourne Australia! We have a couple of built in vegetable gardening beds but most of our growing is done in pots, aka container vegetable gardening.
I’m also a TV news journalist so researching is my jam, if I don’t know how to do something I’ll read up about it until I do, then share with you everything I’ve learnt!
I’ll sometimes share behind the scenes news gathering, or insider tips for communications professionals. And just to confuse you, we’re also having a blast reviewing all the best kids destinations in Melbourne – but that’s all in a separate playlist so easy to avoid if it’s not what you’re looking for!
