  2. I use fish fertilizer with a high nPk for Phosphorus once they are developed and starting to produce. I definitely say i have seen an increase by doing so but i wouldn't say doubled.

  3. Just found your channel – love your 80's comments 😂😂😂. I've watched 3 of your videos and are finding them very informative. The fact that you're in NC too (I'm more north in Louisburg) hits my targets with the advice your sharing. Thanks for info! 😊

  4. So where does all the nitrogen come from for the early growth? Just the all purpose fertilizer is enough?
I'm asking specifically for hot peppers

  5. Thank you. This is the first year I rolled my tomatoes in bone meal powder and added it to the hole. Excellent results thus far. THANK YOU!

  6. Dude!! I watch and follow many gardeners, farmers, etc…. I just learned more in 5 min then I have in 5 months from hundreds of others!
Thank you ❤️ Lofetime subscriber here ✌️

  7. Omg. I literally spit out the water I was drinking I laughed so hard at the “pretend it’s the 80’s” and the look that you gave. You are hilarious and super knowledgeable. Love you videos

  8. Darn I did not put that much bone meal in my transplants. I will put more on top and around but next year I will KNOW thanks to you.

  9. Thank you so much for this info, my tomatoe plants are full of tomatoes! My plum tomatoes have over 100 fruits on them. Usually I only see 20 to 30. I just hope they all mature. Thank you for your expertise .

  10. QUESTION: Why my cucumber have black spikes? Does it mean that they are not ready to harvest or that they got a disease? My cucumber seems almost ready and I'm not sure why they have black spikes haha thank you

  11. I just bought some bonemeal, however it does not look like your bonemeal. Mine is like black granulated pellets.

  12. How often do you do the bone meal and AP fertilizer in your fabric pots? Is it every 2 weeks like I do the liquid fertilizer and fish fertilizer? Also I just watched another video where he said don’t fertilize when it’s too hot of weather? I really love your videos and advice, it has helped me very much!

  13. Thank you so much as always. Your videos are perfect because they are short, easy to understand and direct to the point. I totally trust everything I have learned from you. Many many thanks!!

  14. Yep I took you at your word and my tomatoes are yellow and not producing and the only thing I changed was adding bone meal at planting

  15. Disagree with the soil tests. A simple PH test could give you tons of information about your soil/plant production. Nothing wrong in learning how Ph affects the growth of your plant. Besides just eating the goodies, growing a garden is about learning.
Best fertilizer for your garden.. Compost… Want high Nitrogen, compost the grass/clover clippings, don't pull up your pea/ beans roots overwinter and till. when it come to the other nutrients. Compost weeds eg. Dandelions high source of Calcium/K micro nutrients. Thing what scares most people about composting weeds are the seeds. There is a science to Composting properly. Also Companion planting eg. The trifecta Corn/beans/squash.
Save your money on store bought fertilizers. In the long run not needed.

  16. Another thing about blooms (Fruit and berries) One year the energy goes to the top (fruit producing) the next year roots. Throw in a bad year when fruiting (frost, heat) you may end up with 3 years of poor harvest. Then people tend to think the plant(s) is/are dying.

Overcrowding a garden is the main reason one has to supplement with store bought fertilizers. takes way too much energy, to fast out of the soil, also tends to lead to pests and diseases.
Want aphids apply store bought nitrogen.
Keep a diary. record everything, look back when having problems.

  17. 8:59 How does this stop transplant shock? Is it something special about this product or just the fact that you’re applying readily available nutrients?
