From sipping ros\u00e9 to sampling dishes prepared by celebrity chefs, food lovers will have plenty to taste at Mohegan Sun this January.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Sun Wine & Food Fest will return to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville from Jan. 21-24, 2027, the venue announced in a news release. The 23rd annual festival will feature wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment and food from local restaurants.<\/p>\n
Among the celebrity chefs scheduled to participate in the Celebrity Chef Dine Around\u00a0on Jan. 23 are Andrew Zimmern (host of “Bizarre Foods”), Scott Conant (judge on “Chopped”), Maneet Chauhan (two-time winner of “Tournament of Champions”), Amanda Freitag (judge on “Chopped”), Marc Murphy (judge on “Chopped”), Antonia Lofaso (former “Top Chef” contestant), Jet Tila (host of “Ready Jet Cook”), Rocco DiSpirito (star of “The Restaurant”) and Jeff Mauro (co-host of “The Kitchen”), according to the news release.<\/p>\n
The event, taking place from 8 to 10:30 p.m. in Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom, will feature more than 20 chefs serving signature dishes paired with wine, beer or spirits.<\/p>\n
Events from past years will return, including Tinis & Treats on Jan. 21, which pairs miniature martinis with desserts and bonbons from Sift Bake Shop.<\/p>\n
Returning events on Jan. 22 include the first day of Grand Tasting, featuring food and beverage samples and cooking demonstrations; the Asian Market, featuring dishes from local restaurants and appearances by celebrity chefs and the outdoor Ice Bar Experience, featuring ice sculptures and cocktails. The second day of Grand Tasting will take place on Jan. 23.<\/p>\n
