I love that we’re surrounded by 100-year-old buildings that originally stored coffee, tea, sugar, and other food staples.”

He went on to note that when the couple head out East, they spend time in the Amagansett abode he built “about 15 years ago.”

The Hamptons retreat is home to his favorite place to cook.

Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson split their time between Tribeca and Amagansett. (Google Maps)

In a 2013 interview with Elle Decor, Flay gave a peek of the Hamptons home shortly after it was built from the ground up. It was a process he underwent with his former wife, “Law and Order: SVU” actress Stephanie March.

Because they had complete control over every element of the home, Flay was able to construct the kitchen of his dreams.

“I’ve spent my life working a grill, and I never had one at home until now,” he said at the time. “It took 30 years.”

The chef gushed, “I love that my kitchen is technically a restaurant,” adding that it was equipped with a commercial 10-burner stove, two ovens, a griddle, and a salamander.

To give an idea of just how capable their home kitchen is, the former couple hosted a whopping 50 people for a turkey dinner at their first Thanksgiving in the home.

“I prepared two 30-pound turkeys and cooked sides for days,” he recalled. “I stand at my kitchen island from the minute I get out here to the minute I leave.”

Flay has said he loves working with Williamson, crediting their shared life experiences for their great relationship. (Getty Images for NYCWFF)

The Amagansett dwelling—and Flay’s personal life—have seen some changes in the years since the build was finished.

Flay and March divorced in July 2015, and his relationship with Williamson, 47, was confirmed publicly in March 2025.

Since then, Flay has opened up about the collaborative nature of their relationship.

“I love working with Brooke,” he told People magazine. “We have a lot in common. We’re very lucky. We’re both chefs. We both have kids. We’re both parents.

“One of the things I really like about being in a relationship with Brooke is that she’s great to bounce things off of. Like we ask each other’s opinion about things that we’re doing foodwise, or restaurantwise, or businesswise, all the time,” he continued. “So it’s really nice to have kind of a best friend that you’re dating that can also be helpful answering the questions that you have.”

In January 2026, the couple rang in the New Year with their friends and family in the 240-year-old barn they added to the Hamptons property.

A People magazine source confirmed the old barn was “relocated and reconstructed” from Sullivan County, NY, and features a sizable fireplace and stunning glass door.

The source also mentioned that the couple plan to expand the space by adding a full outdoor kitchen.

While Flay and Williamson seem to have many plans laid out, a trip down the aisle is not one of them.

“I don’t think getting married is what I need to do,” Flay said in an episode of the “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” he appeared on with Williamson on March 31.

“Some people get married ’cause it seems like the natural next step,” Williamson added. “And I don’t think marriage equals happiness. And I don’t think that not being married doesn’t mean you can’t be the happiest you’ve ever been.”

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay is known for working his magic in restaurants around the world, but fans see much less of the meals he cooks up at home, within his own four walls.
